「動け育て．．．そしてクオリティーと共に続け。」
One goal I have been keeping since pandemic 2020: visit a new somewhere (for more than two nights when touring) with or without an officially booked show at that somewhere. In November 2023, I made my first trip to Hachijo-island in Japan for 4 nights, and this January 2024, I made my debut stay in Arcata for 3 nights, and went for a walk in the redwoods (Sequoioideae) guided by Brad Nissen, a creative wildlife biologist. There seems to be lots of redwoods in California, however all that is left today is fundamentally 4% of what once was. When it was snowing, I composed a song in the home and presence of Joe Thompson, a radical musician/composer/guitarist... during this tour, my car got stuck in the snow in Mount Shasta, but Sequoia's family there helped me... little did I know that I would be arriving at the redwoods of Lady Bird with my just written song which I gave the title "Letter to Sequoia" aka Shasta物語 (シャスタ Monogatari/Story). Recently, Sandro Norton (musician from Portugal) said to me to "continue with quality" and it has been raining a lot again in sunny LA.
パンデミック2020以来キープしてきた一つの希望：ツアー時新しいどこかを訪れる、もしそのどこかで正式な演奏が決まっていなくても（できれば3泊以上）。2023年11月には初の八丈島（4泊）、今年2024年1月には初のアルカタ（3泊）。アルカタにいる間にブラッド・ニッセン（生物学者）に案内されてセコイア（redwoods）の森を訪れました。カリフォルニア州にはたくさんのセコイアがありますが、実は現在の木々の基本的な量は、最も繁殖していた時の量の4%と言われています。今回はジョー・トンプソン（ミュージシャン/作曲家/ギタリスト）を訪れている間、雪の降る中で新曲が生まれました．．．このツアーの間、車がマウントシャスタの雪の中で動けなくなりましたが、与えられた名前がセコイアという8歳の女の子の家族が僕を助けました．．．アルカタに着いてレディバードのセコイア森を新曲、「セコイアへの手紙」と共に訪れたのは必然的な自然、自然的な必然。ここ最近サンドロ・ノートン（ポルトガル在住ミュージシャン）から「クオリティーと共に継続」と言われてから、晴れの日が多いここロサンゼルスでたくさんの雨再び。
